28 June Recovering from a Febrile SeizureOn June 24, 2008 he suffered a severe seizure which was related with high fever. I just want to share with all the world and to let parents know out there not to panic when you see your child having a febrile seizure. They are horrendous and unforgiving, but they have little or no chance at all to cause brain damage. My baby underwent all sorts of testing after the febrile seizure and his tests came out negative. As a parent I felt devastated as I rode on the ambulance along side with him to the ER. Thanks God that my baby is getting all better, his fevers have seized, his speech patterns are clear, and he will make a full recovery.
